Sciens’ long history of private equity investment provides in-depth knowledge and a network of contacts that have been a catalyst in the growth and increase in value of portfolio companies.

Sciens is an opportunistic investor and focuses on middle market buyouts, growth buyouts, and distressed and turnaround opportunities in North America and Europe. Sciens is an active investor, generally seeking to take majority control or lead investor positions, with significant representation on the board of directors and all board committees.

Sciens invests in a variety of industries and has historically focused on investments in defence and security, solar energy, financial services, information technology, luxury goods and the manufacturing sectors.
